BECOME A MEMBER
The MRC ensures the education of its Members in the duties, goals and techniques of Republican Committee Members.
The MRC Members are responsible for the Republican election campaigns within their respective precincts of Monroeville, in cooperation with and under the general authority of the RCAC.
Each Member is elected or appointed to the Republican Committee of Allegheny County (RCAC). An MRC Member is qualified by
Republican voter registration
Residence in an election district of Monroeville
Performance of Party Precinct Duties in Monroeville
Member Duties Include:
Assisting the Republican Party finding and nominating well qualified candidates for public office;
Helping to maximize votes for Member’s election district for Republican Candidates, by assisting voters to register, by assisting voters who need absentee ballots to acquire them, by supporting Republican candidates, and by urging Republican voters to vote;
Serving the interests of Republican Party and members at the polling place;
Attending meetings of the County and Local Committees and submitting an absentee ballot or proxy when attendance is not possible; and
Performing other activities to advance the interests of the Republican Party

An MRC Advocate is qualified by:
Current Republican voter registration
Expresses an interest and requests notifications about MRC activities and events
Expresses an interest in volunteering when the opportunity arises
The MRC strives to match the interests and availability of the Advocate to
our events and variety of volunteer tasks.
